Perfect gluing of folding boxes<\/h2>

High-quality folding boxes are often difficult to glue because they often have a surface made of polyolefins or lacquers. This makes gluing difficult or impossible.<\/p>\n

The adhesive seams of the folding boxes are the crucial point here. You need optimum adhesive adhesion to reliably ensure stable, high-quality packaging.<\/p>\n

In most cases, additional, expensive, aggressive special glues are used to ensure that the boxes are securely glued together. Alternatively, the surface is mechanically removed at the bonding points using brushes or milling cutters.<\/p>\n

Optimal pretreatment with plasma for folding cartons<\/h2>

Plasma pretreatment represents a simple<\/strong>, cost-effective<\/strong> and, above all, controllable<\/strong> type of pretreatment.<\/p>\n

The plasma is generated in a plasma head and blown onto the area to be treated using compressed air. In the case of folding cartons, this usually takes place in the folder gluer during or before gluing.<\/p>\n

The plasma activates the surface and thereby increases its wettability, allowing the adhesive to spread easily. Furthermore, the pre-treatment creates an active surface, resulting in significantly higher adhesive strength.<\/p>\n

The adhesive seams of folding boxes require optimum adhesion of the adhesive in order to ensure reliable, stable packaging.<\/p>\n

In order to be able to glue the boxes securely despite this, either additional, expensive, aggressive special glues are then used or the surface is mechanically removed at the gluing points using brushes or milling machines.<\/p>\n
